I dreamt of my grandfather last night.

He was dressed just like me. He looked younger than when he passed but I called him Paw paw, like I did as a kid. He told me not to be like him; not to escape through a high. He told me he was sorry he wasn’t around these days. He told me how much he hoped i could forgive him. He looked so much like me. It surprised me. I felt something I find hard to articulate now. But it hit home....
